When Carl Barks applied for a job at the Disney Studio in 1935 he submitted several drawings. Two of these are his version of Snow White and the seven dwarfs for the animated feature which was under work at the time; the other ones are a Mickey Mouse scene inspired by Floyd Gottfredson's comic strip.
