This cover illustrates TTT 2465/2 (»The Lemonade King«). Pencil sketch only by Barks; the finished color art was done by Norman McGary.

Barks' cover sketch exists in 4 variants (see also CBL IV/2/426); originally, also the nephews were included.

There is an alternate sketch by Barks (siehe AC TTT 2465/1).

Barks' sketch originally comprised a double page and also contained the title page on which Scrooge operated a lemon press; Western replaced this page with a drawing by Norman McGary in the published version.

Lemonade Leo

[US] Dagobert betreibt an einem See einen Limonadestand. Er liefert sich mit seinem Rivalen Lemonade Leo [Limonaden-Leo] einen heftigen Kampf um die Gunst der Kundschaft, in dessen Verlauf immer größere Trinkgefäße zum Einsatz kommen. Schließlich triumphiert Dagobert, indem er seine Limonade direkt aus dem See feilbietet.

Children's book with 17 single-page and 5 double-page illustrations. Pencil sketches only by Barks; the finished color art was done by Norman McGary. Accompanying text written by Annie North Bedford. Barks' original sketches still exist.
