On an early cover sketch, this story is entitled »Rug Bugs in Old Bugdud«.
Originally 17 pages; Western cut one page from the story to make room for an advertisement. According to Barks, this affected a gag sequence around p. 13 in which the Ducks hunt Magica who is forced to do an emergency landing when she runs out of sprit.
